    Wow folks..some great pics there! Brought back some very happy memories. 🙂 I must scan a few more myself and put them up!

    I gather from the fact that all his aircraft seem to have gone to new homes the Lindsay Walton is no lomger around. which is a shame. Its an even bigger shame to here that the Corsair has’nt flown for 3 years.. 🙁

    🙁 So much for ‘For French Only’ then. That does seem a remarkably cruel fate for such a ‘pretty’ aircraft. It’s not as if there are’nt enough in US Naval livery already.
    Lets hope that one day she finds her way back to Europe and is restored to her former glory.

    So what of Lyndsay Walton then? Is he still active on the warbird scene? I seem to remember he owned several other aircraft..

    Thanks for the replies guys. Sad to hear that the Corsair is ‘stateside’ now, (from my POV anyway!) and even sadder to hear she may not even be flying anymore.. 🙁
