    L-188 Folks/A & P Folks:

    Good day!

Just a few questions about the short Ck flight.

The pilot shot down engines #1 & #3 after the landing and then proceded to taxi this way. Do the sequence of engine shutdown indicates problems on board?? Do the short flight indicates more work still needs to be done?? How long does a FCF on a L-188 usually last??

    Dave/L-188A Folks:

    Good day!!

On 3 Dec 2011 at apprx 12:00L hrs our fine L-188A X FAH 555 finally took to the air fm famous Toncontin airport in Honduras. After some 13 years in storage the fine crew decided it was time for the bird to spread its wings again. What a sound of those Allison engines made roaring down the runway!

What a sight even fm a distance to see this magnificent flying machine do what Lockheed intended back c 1957 to do. The flight was short and uneventful and more testing will follow up soon. If flew for appx only 12 minutes.

We’ll keep you posted about the ferry flight north to Air-Spray in Canada. Video The Harold2010 via U-Tube.

Good Job Air-Spray & Crew…we know that was not an easy task!!
