    Flyier:

    Good day!

With the due apologies to the vintage aviation folks we’ll be glad to correct its previous id! Tks for the data & info also.

No..we were not sure of the real id of this particular aircraft for years. But now,..tks to Chris & you, we seem to get into the perimeter of our ukns FAG aircraft! The Miles Hawk surfaced as one of the closest samples to it sometime ago. Chris if you have other angles or pics of the 601 Aiglon plz post! The small front engine panel cowling looks a bit different. Maybe it’s another modern version? They handle quite well in grassy airports!! Tks

p.s Does the FAG star looks to you like a 5 point or a six point star?

    Tks for the link!

The Uruguayan folks that found the Norecrin were hikers & car rally folks not aviation folks. They took some pics but not close-ups of the cockpit or id plates. It is suspected to be LV-FDN so far! No C/n known. There was another unique sample in Uruguay c, 1960s CX-AMS also. c/n 250! Sold to Argentina c. ’72 & then …. who knows!!
