I’ve only been into the military aviation scene for a short while now, i’m because i’m Chinese, naturally, I like to see my country’s developments. I’ve been trotting through many different forums (CDF, DefenseTalk, Key Forums, etc), never have I seen a Chinese member (or so called Chinese member) be so disgraceful to his own race than the thread I just witnessed in PDF.

Yes – a very nice wind tunnel model too. STILL does not prove it is in developement. Janes reports quoting unamed sources is exactly the reporting I would expect of Janes when they don’t have proof.
If your going to dismiss a Janes article, one of the most respected aircraft news sources, then I simply have no words left in my mind to describe how ludacrious this is. We shall wait and see won’t we?

(make sure you take notice that I bolded “Suggested” to avoid futher confusion)

FC-1 fighter officially first flight took place in front of the public on August 25, 2003. 6 prototypes are in the works.
Fact:
Wind Tunnel version of JXX is already done, including several designs. Also, a Janes article was posted above stating that it is in development, to which you have not responded.
Now lets me ask you again, where is your proof.

Let me put your questions another way. You claim the J10 is an original design and NOT a Lavi rip-off – where is your evidence showing it is fundamentally different from the Lavi. Superficially it looks the same. There was a thread sometime back showing an alleged J10 cutaway which was a Lavi rip off complete with the spine refuelling dock. Makes me wonder what else has been ripped off and now passed as original design by enthusiasts?
Why is questioning the legitimacy of your claims, hostility? It seems obvious to me that since you don’t have evidence to back up your fantasy speculation you call me hostile. Even though I am a new member here, I have been lurking for quite some time here and there is one reason why I like these forums:
Most opinions here are unbiased and un-patriotic with a very few execptions. I’m able to get pretty clear facts about new military aircraft without having to go through to much garbage.
Just so that you know, I am Chinese, but i’m an Aussie at heart. Been in Sydney for 19 years now (i’m 21) and english is my first language. If there ever would be a war (God forbid) between Australia and China, I will supprt Australia 100%.
Having said that, I cannot deny I feel a little bit proud and admiration towards China at the level they are at now. Having gone throught the ****-hole which was the cutral revolution (1949 to 1970’s) and then in a period of 20-30 years having to re-build everything ground up takes alot of dedication.
To tell you the truth, not long ago, I even thought that China was a 3rd-third world, poverty striken country. I didn’t even like my own heritage! Until, I took it upon myself to do some research, and I was awe-striken. I had proven myself entirely wrong, Having seen cities like Shanghai, Shenzhen, Gaungdong, Dalian, Qingdao, Chengdu etc makes Sydney seem like 18th century england in comparison.
Sure, there are still lots which need fixing, but given time that will change too. There are still 3rd world areas in China, but you can’t imply the entire country is 3rd world only based on those areas.
Yesterday, I had a look in one of the Indian military fourms and I was shocked by the amount of garbage that was said. Most, if not all posts were biased, patriotic and sometimes just down right racsist towards China.
Try going to China-Defense.forum and you’ll see just the opposite, there is even a thread regarding the Indian Military and its capabilities showing alot of pics and the achievements of the Indian military.
Let me ask you WHY? Why do most of you indians feel this way about China? Have the chinese done something to have wronged you?
Have a better perspective on life will you?
