What do YOU think, Archangelski ??:o
friendly yours,

Hello Etienne,
Unfortunately I still do not have a solution for this aircraft. Maybe effectively some kind of pre-test of a “modified” Georgian roundel made during a refurbishment in Ukraine (as this particular roundel that we have seen earlier on a Mozambique MiG-21 in Romania). The result is a paintjob closer to a Malta Cross than a Georgian one.
What is the model Su-20K, Su-20M? I think that this is the first photo of the su-20M (22M2)with a pylon under the nose.
It’s Su-22M2K (factory designation S-32M2K and Fitter F for NATO) with some “improved” avionics and systems comparing to earlier versions (FON-1400 Laser rangefinder in the nose, ASP-17 and PBK-3-17s aiming avionics, RSBN-6S short-range navigation and instrument landing system, …) and the undernose pod is for a DISS-7 Doppler radar (black pannel) and, on some airframes, RWR.
My file in PC contains hundreds of aircraft walkaround, apart from RF-84K.
I did search it online via google but got nothing satisfactory.
It’s better to be this alike, if you ask what kind quality I am seeking for, regrettably, the same website presents a sealed intake. So I have to seek help here.
thanks in advance.
Is it F-84 Thunderstreak or RF-84 Thunderflash walkaround that you are looking for ?
If it’s really RF-84K, the main distinguishing feature was the 23 degrees of anheadral added to the tailplanes so they would clear the bay of the RB-36. There is also a small door forward of the windscreen that contains the retractable hook. No other modifications were made comparing to RF-84F.
See here : http://www.cybermodeler.com/aircraft/f-84/rf-84k.shtml
If nor K version : the belgian Thunderflash pictures in Primeportal are really good (http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/luc_colin3/rf-84f_fr-28/ or http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/luc_colin3/rf-84f_fr-32/).
Some other ones (of the two German versions) here : http://www.b-domke.de/AviationImages/Thunder84.html
