Persia (Iran) seems to have never used the Hawk 75. Pictures depict a pre-delivery flight.
Don’t know the true story of why aileron wears a Norwegian flag.
The wing is the only Norwegian-marked piece on the airplane. It appears that the aileron made its way onto the Iranian machines on final assembly. The Norwegian A-8 variant and Iranian A-9 were produced at the same time so some mixing of parts is not too surprising (maybe also a temporary repair for flight test ?).
All 9-10 (?) Persian Hawk were passed, directly uncrated, into service with RAF in India as Mohawk IV.
