We shld make a dedicated thread for hot Chinese girls in Stockholm (a blind try).
Well, in the waiting, here is the mightiest and grand-full one. So lean forward, cheers for the greatest of all time, the strongest and the true backbone of US military might:
(nor really a pic)Greetings to all!
And it is said that China is lagging behind the West in terms of frame design !!
Personaly, I really prefer Chinese version.
Boeing YC-14 –
Same engines location for same purposes.
Unfortunately, An-72 (and derivatives) is the only one that became operational.
It probably has extreme tolerance to debris on the runway.
I suppose you are talking about the An-72 picture.
Debris tolerance was part of requests of Soviet AF, but another asset of the engines location was the use of “Coanda” effect for STOL specifications. The compressed air from engines exhausts is blown on the top of wings to provide high-speed air, even at low flying speeds, then creating more lift. The compressed air, attracted by nearby surfaces, also follow the curve of the wings and flaps, further increasing lift.
See here on a Russian An-74 (An-72 with “minor” modifications) :
LOL ! i’m afraid none of the pics i took would be appropriate 😀
