For Etienne : I’ve read somewhere that some of the Alouette II of the Madagascar Air Force were ex-belgian ones.

Yes, it’s particularly difficult to give a good definition of the “executive outcomes” militia.:)
They were also already in activity, for exemple, in Angola in 1993.
For the beginning of their deployment in 1995 in Sierra Leone, the crew of the Mi-24 (delivered via Ukraine) can be seen below :

……………
but…according to airliners.net, it was an ‘historic’ one !!! ;
‘thus’ no more in use now !

from a previous post (‘AFM roundels poster’) : “I’m afraid the SLAF is now an HISTORIC one ; found in Wikipedia (last modified on 5 Oct 2013)”
Correct Etienne, the particular pictures that you can see in this post were taken during “civil war” in Angola, thus the mention “used by executive outcomes” that I’ve added to the the previous post for Sierra Leone one.
Sorry if that leads to a misunderstanding.
The crew was, at least at the beginning, a mix of Ukrainian and Russian “mercenaries” supporting South African ones (private military company) for protection of diamonds mines. One Mi-24 was used supporting two Mi-17.

In total, it seems that two Mi-24 were used by the Sierra Leone air force (SL-201 and SL-202)
SL-201 in good times :
and to add to your comment (SLAF is an historic one) SL-201 :
