Reminds me this real F-5E Tiger II tested in USSR with soviet markings :
Ethiopia : Mi-17

Central African Air Force AS-350B Ecureuil :

You read correct, it’s AMIS, some agricultural organization, AFAIK.
thank you.
That report is really wonky – lots of stuff listed that’s out of service (e.g. Peruivan Su-22s).
Didn’t notice that. No really up-to-date info then !
Hi MSphere,
do you know what complete word was sprayed up on ER-MHG (just after tailboom code) ?
Just read AMIS.
Nigeria : AS-322B Super Puma :

The two active Hips in Sierra Leone are 9L-LBX (Mi-8PS) and ER-MHG (Mi-8MTV)
ER-MHG is a Moldova registred Mi-8MTV1 : http://www.planepictures.net/netshow.php?id=745655
Etienne, if you are referring to the previous military looking Hips (9L-LBD and 9L-LBT), they are long gone. Daisy has crashed in June 2007 and Bookie was left to rot on Freetown airfield. She’s a sad wreck now.
Pictures of the two birds in better times (december 2004) : sad they are no more in active duties.

No Etienne, of course not : this one in 2013 issue (don’t know their sources) : http://www.flightglobal.com/airspace/media/reports_pdf/world-air-forces-2013-101015.aspx (free download)

Report of flightglobal can be seen here (downloadable .Pdf)
thanks for your pics, Greg…
their Puma seems to be a military one, BUT when was taken that picture ? (photo # 220109… in which site ??)
I’m afraid the SLAF is now an HISTORIC one ; :apologetic: found in Wikipedia (last modified on 25 May 2013) :

Hi Etienne, in World Air Forces 2013, from Flight International Revue, they listed 2 Mi-17 and 1 Mi-24 as active in Sierra Leone Air Force.
