Nose of the Uganda AF L-39 (ex-Ukr.) :

No need to apologize, buddy.. The day I have decided to post em for the fellow collectors, I have ultimately given up the idea to earn any credits for them.. Consider them as my (and my friend’s) contribution to the mankind ๐
Thank you MSphere. Sharing all pictures gleaned on the web make this thread one of the best ever…
And we even curling indigestion of pictures now, each more beautiful than the other. Thanks to all those who contribute or have contributed so far…
Hold your horses guys!! ๐
On April 1st the P-263 of airbase Ypenburg was magically changed as a joke into a Sovjet, and applied with the neccesary Russian signs.
April fools joke still confusing after 50 years!!

A Dutch F-84 Thunderstreak in “OPFOR” scheme :

I am the source, buddy.. These three hi-res pics (not the first one with Il-62M) were never posted outside this very forum.. they were sent to me by a Canadian friend of mine who has visited Banjul in early 2006. Interestingly enough, he had almost no idea what he has taken photo of – it was simply “I know you like aircraft and there is one ugly thing I have shot in Gambia, probably not interesting for you.. :)”
Sorry if a repost of your pictures MSphere… they were on my computer without knowing where I had downloaded … at least now I know.
Outstanding!! Archangelski
As always you didn’t learn to leave the source of this Gambian Su-25 Blue 81 on the thread.
Please go to the trouble of sharing the source for this amazing find with us.
TIA.
Sorry, but it’s also a problem for me when I need to source some of my images. I do not always score the sites visited where I find the images of aircraft.
Other pictures of the Gambian Su-25 on my computer hard drive :

Spot the problem in this story:
http://www.cnbc.com/2016/09/15/big-us-military-aid-package-to-israel-has-strings-attached.htmlwell, not in the story itself but a pretty stupid mistake at the top of the page.
Israรซl will buy F-CK-1 Ching-Kuo ? :highly_amused:
Also of interest : this downed Royal Aircraft Factory B.E.2c of 12 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps, with roundels on the fuselage and Union Jacks under the wings, near Phalempin, in northern France, 26 September 1915.

Very nice Archangelski.
Year and type anyone??
Caption on the pictures are : Short Admiralty Type 166 :
first picture : in Salonica Bay from H.M.S. “Ark Royal” in 1916
Second one : being hoisted outboard from the seaplane carrier “Ark Royal” at Mitylene, Greece, also in 1916.

During Gallipoli Campaign, being hoisted on to HMS “Ark Royal” off the Dardanelles in 1915.

What about the other two?
