I find the idea interesting. Could be used on older airframes, instead of using them as QF-16.
Maybe to bring back some kind of reality or at least to stick to the facts this link might be useful !

Little personal reflection : If Buk missile was effectively launched near Shizhne and first debris (falling ballistically) found as far as Petropavlivka, then missile seems to excede its maximum range (19-22 miles). It’s not an “accidental shoot” or “bad luck”, it’s “magic”.
Of course. But take a look at the infamous T-50-1 hangar pictures from MAKS 2013.
OK, seen and compared : http://theaviationist.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/PAK-FA-2.jpg,
Static tests have wrong kind of inclination to be used for KNS. Although it is obviously it is tested on, while it being static. Anyway, schematics.
We begin to understand what one means to another. 😉
Thanks for posting ! To admit that’s such a tragedy that especially this prototype was lost :apologetic: … this color scheme is simply amazing and a perfect fit for that beautiful, elegant but at the same time amazingly powerful looking fighter and that’s demonstrated perfectly in this image !

Sukhoi stated that the aircraft will be repaired, and that the fire “will not affect the timing of the T-50 test program”. Wait and see.
Well, your correlation didn’t make much sense at all. We don’t have a clear pic of T-50-0’s side but it is perfectly same to assume it has that panel too, ie all T-50’s have it…
And to be picky, KNS is not static per see. T-50-0 is.
To be sure that we understand each other :
I’ve just said that other members opinions for picture shown can match with KNS.
And KNS is a non-flying (in its current form) prototype meant for static tests and taxi runs.
Famous location too…
Жуковский (Zhukovsky) ?
Post #597, only one page back.
the Low-Vis roundels have proven to be unsuccesfull, thats why all NH90’s delivered to belgium will have the standard high-vis roundels placed on them on arrival.
so far the NH90-NFH (RN-02, and soon RN01 (to arrive in Belgium next week)) has these, aswell as the TTH versions (RN05, 06 and 07).
Thanks for info. I’ve seen RN07 (?) during Belgian national Day on 21th July with high-viz one.
