OK. Thanks for precising.
Journalists…
Video with last communications between aircraft and base :
And they say it’s an An-26.
Inforesist is a “pro-Ukrainian” media. Video of the airplane in flight clearly identifies it as an An-30b (caracteristic humpback for cockpit, undernose radar, …) .
Radio communications between the Antonov and its base also clearly show its role.
That aircraft is flying. Hit (right eng. burning) but it seem as if its pilot nose dived to get some safety at low alt. Is the shotdown confirmed by the Ukr AF ?
Notice also that not a single flare was fired after weeks of engagement now.

Israeli Mig-23 😀
Could be an other thread : aircrafts wearing “unexpected” roundels.
Do you really think so, J.V. ??
I don’t ;
friendly, Etienne
Of course not, that’s why I put the hilarious smiley.
Only a joke following “Maltese” L-39.
Israelian L-39 : :highly_amused:

Not completely the same but it has a sort of the Malta cross.
Maltese cross is very particular, with four elements in “V” forms, joined to each other by their bases and, then, is eight-pointed.
Or engineer who wanted to paint the cross of the Ukrainian Air Force did not consult wiki. 🙂
Nothing to do with pre delivery markings. This RAF Hawk T1 was painted, along with a dozen others, to represent the countries then flying the Hawk, think it was Farnborough 2004, probably to celebrate the thirty anniversary of Hawks first flight
Thanks for info. It would have been better if more real markings were applied.
thanks for your POV, J.V. ,

You’re always welcome Etienne.
Have also found this, unfortunately in french (they are talking about the flag at the very end of the article : http://www.ailes-militaires-belges.be/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=463:presentation-airbus-a321&catid=79:spotting-2014&Itemid=983&lang=fr
Details?!
Picture noted as taken in Lviv in Ukraine.
And another Chadian “enigma” as, till now (if I’m right), the code numbers TT-OA… were reserved to helicopters ????
