Another reason to use in design of a canopy of T-50 a separate deflector(front part of canopy) is a way of leaving the pilot cockpit in case of ejection. When canopy is separating, the oncoming flow simply tear off pilot’s head, so the deflector is made as separate element.

Why not just buy the canopy from the Chinese then? They obviousely dont find it that difficult..

So another question for you, the tip up part will be in front or will in be in the rear of the two pieces canopy?

As it is now – rear part.

There are no problems with the development of polycarbonate canopy, but silicate…
Silicate canopy less durable than polycarbonate, for this reason on the canopy of T-50 mounted a longitudinal crosspiece. But silicate canopy stand high temperatures, it has better optical qualities.

Yes, it is working out large silicate tip-up part of canopy with dimensions: 1525x805mm

Let’s close the theme about canopy of T-50. It never will frameless. Frameless will be only tip-up part of canopy.

Why would a mechanical and flight systems demonstrator, with absolutely no requirement for low observables, have zigzags?

the t-50 prototype going on and suddenly performing air show maneuvers for Putin? Did not seem it was so far ahead in its flight testing, and yet it was, perhaps evidence of flights that were going on for a longer than released time, or evidence of lack of information about the status of the program (as in by that time the plane had passed enough test points to perform the maneuvers).

Between the first flight on 29 January and a demonstration for Putin on June 17 passed five months.

In my opinion its a reliable source Quadro, because if you remember Groomi has also said in secretprojects “Maybe in first quarter of the next year”

The “first quarter” is the wide definition, isn’t it? T-50-2 long been ready for flight.

From the latter – there will be small differences between the T-50-1 and T-50-2, they will be visible.

No, given that from flight of J-20 Chinese wants to do the bombast show with premeditated leaks, Hu Jintao, dressed up clowns, and squadrons of J-10.

In 2011 flight tests will begin 3 T-50.
Official thrust of izd.117 is 15000kgf, but according to the employee of “Saturn”, it is 15700.

The only reason to postpone the flight of T-50-2 is a very cold weather. No, T-50-2 will not different from the T-50-1
