Where do you get such strange names? Simply “117” or AL-41F1

Isnt 16.5T engine thrust on the lower side ? Just 1.5 T higher than present engine ?

I do not know.

I read that the principal reason Sukhoi didn’t go for an S-duct design was because it would require the engines to be spaced closely, leaving inadequate space for a rear weapons bay.

I heard something else: “Those who can’t do the adjustable stealth intakes – does S-ducts intakes”
