I have sampled both flying and assorted marine activities, the sea is ridden with more danger although this is based on my own near misses as a diver, canoe, glider pilot, yachtsman and aerial photographer. The sea often involves longer time exposure therefore being at risk for longer. Both locations away from terra firma demand knowledge and respect.Oddly as an island race the British do not have to have a licence of any kind to take to the sea, hence the crazy call outs every year to the coastgaurd and lifeboat crews.
oops..my recce is not good below ground level….
ahh the MaryRose,,astonished that prince Charles had to borrow a wetsuit when he dived on her…anyway back to the topic…dynamic displays are in place at many air museums, eg Oz Lanc ,Peter Jacksons Di O ramas, yeovilton flight deck. So why not?
Are there any lessons to be learned from this affair?

Spotters guides list the location as where photography is banned, there is military activity in the area, glad you kept out of jail. The whole activity of openly taking photos in assorted places has become a confused mess .
real logbooks are not held together by staples, they are bound bookstyle.

If coming from Aberdeen head on the A96 past Huntly, past Coachford (where you can still see the microlight in somebody’s garden). As soon as you pass the sign saying you are entering Moray, take the first left (B9115 signposted Drummuir and Dufftown). 1.3 miles along this road on the left is a construction site where all the pylons are laid out, and the Skycrane is there. Be warned, the site is muddy! due to deaprt circa 5 days time.
Thanks for the wider view Propstrike and timely as I was just about to post this which gives advice about doing business in Egypt https://www.commisceo-global.com/country-guides/egypt-guide

Looks like a tricky place to deal with even before the turmoil.
Some of the revenge weapons did not have a warhead filled with explosives, instead they contained propaganda materials including copies of Signal magazine. Also some weapons were sabotaged . This could be the cause of level landings.
Another ruse was deliberate mis reporting of landing locations with hints in the press and reports by the turned German spies in the UK. This resulted in more weapons falling in countryside. Sources for this info After the Battle magazine and several books on the subject.
The best article I have read on the subject, magnificent images as well, of particular interest was the engine issues and the knowledge needed.
Having filed and addressed thousands of flight plans when part of my RAF job I can add that making sure everyone who needs a copy is sent one is at times a challenge as the routes cross boundaries.. Even with the use of the documents it was certainly tricky. I marked up charts with boundaries highlighted and address blocks marked. Some countries had seperate addresses for the air defence mil departments which had to be added next to the air traffic ones.. Interesting to see the outcome of missing out one in this instance . Military pilots have in many cases a desire to get close to intercepted traffic and still feel safe, where as the airline crews understandably feel very unhappy.
perhaps people would prefer nothing posted except proof red items, then the other stuff would disappear and we would be missing news or gossip? This is a newsgroup not a paid for publication so give folks a break, not everyone has time or the knowledge to get every ref correct. Its rather a downer to add an item here and get battered by a storm of nit picking, everyone has to start and we should engage and encourage those who show a willing to stop lurking and add a post. This place has sadly a reputation for harshness to posters and opinions which are not in line with the majority.
Wreck/crash site investigation does not have to be a duplicate of archaeology of old buried sites, generally thats a waste of effort where air crashes are concerned.
