No ones adressed speed. By eliminating the cockpit, and the risk of delamination,
Could we get a mach 2.5-3 super cruise?
What about a next gen das array that more accurate out to 100+ miles.
Mix speed + sensors+ dew and nothing hides or runs.
Could point defense lasers change the missile defense equation? What kind of laser wattage would you need to destroy a re!entry vehicle?

Nuclear weapons, and the F-35C
I wonder if someday some one will invent an intake thats DSI but can deal with air speeds up to mach 3? Would you even need stealth coatings at such speeds?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intake_ramp
here is another one for you.
How does the F-22 inlet have none of the complex moving parts of the F-15, but does most of the F-15 envelope on dry thrust?
Alot of idea’s presented here are fairly antiquated. The last few modern designs have favored DSI bumps over varaible inlets. This saves weight and is inherently more stealthy. Dsi might have a high mach draw back, but few aircraft
Fly in a max combat load past mach 2 anyway. Your ideas on variable inlets, and wing loading are ancient.
Whats the current LRIP cost of a F-35?
How would it compare to a EF or squall in price?
India will need a type for its new carrier also.
They have a hot mess of aircraft types ATM.
Tejas, SU-30, Rafael, mirage, mig 29, and soon the T-50. It would be nice by 2030 to have a simple high med low air craft mix. Id reccomend
T-50 high, F-35 med and tejas low. Phase out the Su-30 in favor of the T-50.
Body lift has buck all to do with max AoA.
max AoA is a control authority issue, nothing more.
We seem to have a communication problem.
I USED high aoa as an example of how you underestimated the F-35 in the 1st place.
You underestimate body lift, you underestimate, AOA, you even under estimate the planes air to air capabilities.
I’m hoping that red forces think like you do.
And assume the plane is a easy kill.
deflecting / ctrl -ing air flw is just another way of saying ‘increase dra
g’ on one side,
its not what you would rationally do in straight flight.underestimated ? on contrary it was overestimated,
as was proved when just about every last KPP threshold had to be reduced to make it pass
LoL so other aircraft go 50 degrees AoA with 0 deflection?
http://nationalinterest.org/feature/new-super-f-35-rule-the-us-military-11892uture Super lightening derivative.
Your totally discounting body lift.
Your totally misjudging the plane on outdated assumptions.
For instance, before max AOA was demonstrated, many thought impossible for the F-35 to do + 50 degrees high alpha. It wasn’t until we saw the plane in action that we realized the insane deflection of the rear control surfaces.
This plane is greatly under estimated.
Im going to pull a LO and request the full flight manual for both the F-35 and F-15 , sir Im ornery today. I won’t believe
Until I see the manual.
Has there been any modern jet fighter since the 80s that achieved IOC with full
Up capabilities and zero restrictions?
Super Hornet? Su-30? Typhoon? F-22?
Ironically the F-35B may be the survivable tac air asset, at Kadena.
