Does anyone have a F-15 NATOPs laying on the desk? Please enlighten us on F-15 clean at 40k, and F-35 at 40k..

You also forgot the period around all.
I can imagine that you breezed your way through English 101? Maybe someone did the work for you on the way to that advanced flight engineering school. Im just saying.

FYI, if ceiling is 40k ft, that’s where F-35 no longer can maneuver at all,
    education isnt shabby either

Excuse me sir , but since we know the target KPP is greater than 40k it would be intellectually dishonest for you to follow this line of reasoning.
Furthermore we arnt discussing Cruise in a straight line at 40k, we are talking about gs.
On the subject of education, I think you forgot a period, at the end of a sentence.

But seriously, I congratulate all involved. The feat of declaring IOC with an MMO=1.2, 5g-capable, 40kft ceiling fighter with a max warload of 2 AAMs and two 1 klb bombs is unparalleled in recent times. I don’t think anyone’s done that since the Dassault Etendard entered service.

    Hey LO,

    Isn’t 5.5 gs at 40k feet significantly better than a clean F-15?
Didn’t the F-16 reach IOC with out a radar?
Didn’t the Typhoon and Raffy reach IOC with 0 air to ground?

    Perspective is a great thing.

I did not say that they WILL be the best EVER, just that they are at the top of the heap for the time
    being.

Every fighter, ever designed, for all time & infinitum will eventually be surpassed.

    Except for the A-10?

Its amusing to see the F-35 brigade cherrypick fictional blog stories, pass them off as “criticism”, debunk
such criticism, then pretend everything is all well and good.

Its just a fcking blog story.

Learn to see valid criticism of the F-35.

Its not that serious. The post was for the purpose of discussion. And besides, if the mans going to write a short story, Why not have a critique?

Blitzo I read years ago someplace that guam/kadena recieved up grades with hardened super shelters. Do you know if this happened? Would Kadena be a soft target?

People who think that America would take the loss of a carrier, and limp home, to never return, DON’Tunderstand America.
Can China hit us in a Pearl Harbor 1st strike? Yes. Will we give up the Pacific? Definitely not. Keep in mind that B-2s, B52s And B-1s will launch from conus.
Ohio’s and Virginia will shut down every chicom air field within 500nm
What about the Alaskan F-22 global strike packages? All this and a 5-7 carrier surge hasnt happened yet.
China hits us the 1st day with at 2000 aimvpoints (srbms)

We hit 2000 aim points each day for months. Or until we run out of smart bombs.

Why in a period of heightened tensions, would a Wasp class ship, patrol a hostile area with no SAG to speak of?Just 2 Burkes would like stop a swarm of J-20s

No, not insecure, but I thought it would make for good discussion. Which is the point of this page.

I hope for a highy advanced block 4 plane 1 day.
With multiple A2A kills, and a squadren patch, with a angry baby seal on it. Crap lets paint a snarling baby seal on the nose, screw it.

Msphere, since I have painted you in a bad light,
And claimed that you have downplayed the F-35s electronic attack capabilities will you correct me?
Will you tell us your real thoughts on the F-35s bells and whistles? Will you enlighten us on the F-35s electronic suite being an evolution of the F-22? Show us the light sir.
