If you can, try to arrange to visit Van Sant airport in Erwinna, PA. It’s a little grass field I got my license at. I still stop by there when I can. They have some unique airplanes that you can get a ride in. There’s a tiger moth, stearman, great lakes, piper cub, gliders and some of the usual suspects available for rent. I’ve been up in the tiger moth, great lakes and stearman. Great fun. Right now they’re working on getting a chipmunk properly licensed for flight training and renting.

I’ve been reading posts at this website for a few months now. Lots of good stuff. I’ve been toying with the idea of selling my Citabria and buying a chipmunk and found this site when I was searching for information about the “Chippies”. It’s doubtful right now that I’ll get one but who knows.
