Sometimes the world is smaller than you’d think….!
If I’m not entirely wrong, I once had this one in my possesion and sold it off at a market, most probably the “Ekeberg-market”, held by the NVK (Norwegian Veteran Auto Association)!
I was also quite fascinated by this item, believing it was from some sort of plane. I was, however, at some stage informed that this was rather a cooling fan/propeller from some sort of industrial installation needing efficient air cooling. I cannot off hand recall for which type of equipment it was used.
So, there you are, my friend; not directly aviation aviated; but a nice little story, and nice it is!
Best regards

Nope – the buns were purrrfec, as always! Last year’s big newcomer was the Tiger Moth Burger (that’s the double decker burger, with double up of everything).
Yepp, I _did_ look a little more cross than usual, maybe because of the 40 deg + fever at the time. This time I’ll see the doc a little earlier, should the need arise 😀
Anyway, _the rest_ of the pictures still are a pleasure to watch!
Happy Easter to everyone on the forum!

Wingnut: thanks for sharing! Beautiful pics. Allthough not a large air show by any means, the event normally gives some diversity, as well as being very visitor-friendly.
And, as it’s fairly obvious: there’s a time for flying and a time for (burger) flipping….

Hello Bri!
Thanks for the kind words. You are welcome (most) any time. That is: there are no museums at Kjeller! Following the military and civilian activities, it has sort of developed into a small, black hole – attracting people and planes….
There are plans and hopes, however, that a museum depicting the military activities av Kjeller. Like so many other groups of enthusiasts, we are being kept busy managing our funds, sorting out who may be allowed to sponsor us, picking among the many plots, naturally all with an indefinite time horizon, turning eager helpers away etc etc NOT!!! We struggle like most other, but _we will_ get there.
Hope your trip on Hurtigruten comes through – that should give you an overdose of nature and weather lasting quite some time. Drop me a line when the time comes – aviation friends are always welcome.
Best rgds
