MkIXe TE554 (flown recently for Ezer Weisman’s funeral, I believe) (Israel)

It has flown as recently as June 28 and 30. See http://www.pbase.com/xnir/iaf_academy

I’m still interested in the Battle of Britain Film’s honour roll at the end. “…1 Israeli.” How?

42598 George Ernest Goodman, born in Haifa under the British mandate. At the time he would been called a Palestinian, but the meaning of the word has since changed to mean Palestinian-Arab, which he was not. Palestinian-Jew doesn’t mean a great deal either, Israeli seems to have been the easy way out, even if chronologically incorrect.

    Quite wrong

Sauron, remember 9/11. CNN showed images of Palestinian People “celebrating” the events.  Media only cares about headlines, wheter it is France2, CNN or Radio Kempisch Boeregat … So stop bitching about it.

I think you’re very confused. The footage showing Palestinians celebrating 9-11 was genuine. You must have missed the part where the individual who originally claimed it was fake recanted:

I am for example against zionism, the believe that Israel should expand more.

Zionism: the national movement for the return of the Jewish people to their homeland and the resumption of Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel, advocated, from its inception, tangible as well as spiritual aims. Jews of all persuasions, left and right, religious and secular, joined to form the Zionist movement and worked together toward these goals. Disagreements led to rifts, but ultimately, the common goal of a Jewish state in its ancient homeland was attained. The term “Zionism” was coined in 1890 by Nathan Birnbaum. [source: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Zionism/zionism.html ]

How can Zionism, a movement begun in the late 19th century, be about the expansion of Israel, an entity created in 1948? No, it isn’t. If you’re againt Zionism then you are against the existance of the state of Israel, against the right of Jews to self determination. Love or hate Israel’s policies, they have nothing to do with Zionism. Most left leaning Israelis also define themselves as Zionists. How would that be possible if what you write is true? You don’t actually know what Zionism is, do you?

I have to say only two F-4E (s) aircraft were in service in 2001 and those are the two that were retired recently.

This may come as quite a shock to the people present at the farewell ceremony who saw all three F-4E(S) flying together. Don’t believe me? Take a look in July’s AFM, there’s even a photo …
