Who on earth are Flyjet? The name has cropped up on here a lot the past few days.
They are a small British Charter airline. They have 2 Boeing 757’s and this one 767. I have never flown with them but am due to do so in the summer. I have heard they can be a bit hit and miss punctuality wise due to the small fleet. If one aircraft goes tech, the schedules get mucked up pretty badly by all accounts. Hope they are ok when I use them. Their customer service department has been very helpful to me so far!
The 2nd one is an Air Europe 757 I believe.
The 1st one, I’d guess at a 727. We already know it’s Dan Air.
For me, price & convenience are of equal importance. I would pay a small premium to fly on Skyteam airlines for the same reasons as others have given (lounge access, miles, status, upgrades etc.). Sometimes though Low Costs win for various reasons. One example was when I lived in Spain for 6 months. The most convenient way to visit my family was Easyjet from Bilbao to Bristol so I used them. A second example was a few weeks ago when I flew from Manchester to Cologne with Hapag Lloyd Express for £16 for 2 people. You can’t argue with prices like that!!!
Thanks for the replys guys. I’m hopefully off to MAN again this week so will try to get some more. Also hoping to get some shots on my forthcoming trip to LAX (and I may do a trip report if you’re really unlucky 😉 )
Thanks James. I know no one has asked for them but I’ll put the rest of the pics up anyway as I’m not likely to be online over the weekend. Here goes:

These are the best of the selection. The last one is my personal favourite, although I do like the FCA 757 just leaving the runway too.

2. My Travel A330
3. Easyjet 737
4. Martinair 767
5. It does look like some kind of 707 but I couldn’t be sure

Oh no not another fly livery. TUI are gradually killing all their well known charter brands (although at least Corsair & Hapag Lloyd got to keep part of their original names unlike Britannia).
That is the Reebok stadium and the Middlebrook retail park so the pic actually shows Horwich, which is a suburb of Bolton.
It does say in the press release that they’ll be working more closely with Air Canada and makes a specific reference to Star. It’s not really surprising they’re going to order the A350, as Airbus have given them a rather large loan.
That’s the press release being quoted on airliners. Interesting stuff indeed
Love the pics. Great to meet you last week as well!
There’s a thread on Airliners.net with a press release from US Airways / America West giving all the details of the merger

Love that special livery!
I don’t think Easyjet would be very happy with that last one RIP 😉
