I have seen a close convoy of C130 low level over E. Lincs a few years ago….in the half light early hours one weekend… The first one roared over the house and must have woken me…I found my way to my south window to see a mystifying mass of lights…then the next aircraft roared over and the source of the lights started to become clear…did I count 15 aircraft in total.? routing North.

Too young to remember the Hastings as a transport…..but did used to see the T5 Hastings locally….especially jubilee time 1977.

7:46pm…a heard but not seen….I’m sure as I left the Spilsby, E. Lincs, Co-op store I heard a Merlin engine note…. I know I had been reading newly delivered book Spitfire Mark 1 before going shopping…but I’m sure I heard …Spitfire.?

I spotted a DA42 Twin Star operating just South of Gunby, E. Lincs late this afternoon.

Lancaster spotted at 2:30pm today carrying out memorial flypasts at former RAF Spilsby…seen from Gunby Hall Gardens, E. Lincs.

Heard but not seen…just out of sight due to peering up through fog bank..
Slow reving radial sound passing Gunby, E. Lincs heading SSE at 3:35pm today.
