    Yesterday evening for a few mins from 5:23pm a Spitfire was up in the blue, glimpsed fleetingly through broken cloud, above Gunby E.Lincs.

    9:30am today a Yak type (later discovered to be a Nanchang CJ6) seen passing overhead Gunby, E. Lincs, routing north. and at 10:30am BBMF Dakota seen in the distance passing NW abeam, routing NE.

    ..and from last Tuesday…BBMF Dakota up on air test, seen from Gunby, very interesting indeed to watch and hear as it throttled back fully on both..

    Dakota ZA947 of BBMF was out an about over East Lincs today, causing me to rapidly put down my sandwich and rush out the works bothy to view 🙂 First seen North abeam Gunby 12:40pm.

    Heard them out to the North of my work location at Gunby, E. Lincs and sighted them in the distance, 5:11pm, out to the West passing over Spilsby. May have had another aircraft of to their left at this time.??

    Did the former Staverton Tempest once visit Coningsby.?? for an event.?? Remembering an entry in Wrecks and Relics or British Museum Aircraft from years ago.?

    Grob Prefect, not really historic yet, but maybe just a little, as it was my first sighting of one low level, passing Gunby Hall Gardens, E. Lincs, heading SE, 12:37pm. 🙂

    My first spot of a Grob 120, seen manoeuvring up high, immediately to the South of Gunby Hall Gardens, E. Lincs.

    11:52am today, spotted a Beech 18 type, bare metal finish, passing immediately East abeam Gunby Hall Gardens, E. Lincs routing SE.

    I see now that FR24 shows this as N184KP.

    Yesterday I spotted a type I’ve never seen before…had me pondering and had to look it up online.

    Routing south quite purposefully, Grumman Greyhound, overhead Gunby, E. Lincs 2:12pm.

    Lancaster carried out 3 flypasts at Spilsby Show, E. Lincs…. I attended the show this morning but was back home for the flypast…only just across the road. 🙂
