Spotted, in the distance looking out West from Gunby, E. Lincs this evening at 5:53pm, a Merlin engined pair routing South….suspect a pair of Mustangs.:)

Spotted passing Gunby Hall & Gardens, E. Lincs 2:40pm 3 x VC10…..took me by surprise…and certainly made me put my hedgetrimmer down sharpish and rush round the end of the Hall a bit quick to see them away towards Skegness…..

Whilst enjoying a relaxing afternoon in the sunshine at Harrington Hall Gardens…sort of a busmans holiday;) …we spotted a BBMF Griffon Spitfire at 3:33pm.
…and just as we were leaving, at 4:52pm, Catalina G-PBYA cruised slowly by routing South…looked really gorgeous in the lovely late afternoon sunshine.:)

Spotted, passing Gunby Hall & Gardens, a pair of Typhoons coming in from the coast towards Coningsby 1:36pm.
…and a Griffon Spitfire routing towards the coast at 2:03pm and return West at 2:09pm.

“Yak” spotted West abeam Spilsby heading North at 12 noon. Also possibly the same spotted this afternoon from Gunby, E. Lincs…from the North turning back onto North.

Would have loved to have spotted this one en route.
I do remember seeing a Casa 352? years ago, 1980s??, routing North just inland from the Lincolnshire coast, passing over Mumby, E Lincs. It was in German military scheme. I have a feeling it was late August or Sept…but don’t recall the year.:confused:
It was certainly a surprise sighting and in those pre internet days I still have no idea which one it would have been and where from/to….although some years later I did find an entry in a magazine of one such arriving at Newcastle.? on ferry with oil problem on an engine…..??
