I will pass on your comments to everyone at NAM – having the two ‘prone-trials’ aircraft on site is the culmination of a lot of hard work, careful decision making and many meetings; all going back nearly four years!

Sorry to hear about the lack of a response to your email; I have remote access to the enquire @ account and I have just done a search and I cannot find any email – sorry. When I am at NAM on Saturday I will look in the exhibit file for ZA717 to see if anything was printed off, but not acknowledged.
I will also try to get the airframe list on the website amended.

Thank you for the Chinook feedback – did you get a reply to your email?
As I recall (I have typically done the website/guidebook research) the BV designation came off some of ZA717’s official paperwork – I will do some more digging and try to get any amendments made accordingly.
Parts encounters have been close a couple of times, but an alternative route has now been taken.
