More news from Newark Air Museum: “We have some wonderful news to share regarding some objects that we have recently been gifted by the Royal Air Force Museum.
“We’ve just added another update to the website regarding confirmed Cockpit-Fest 24 participants!
I’m surprised that it took so long for anyone to take the bait!
At least the forms were sent out last night to the sellers who attended on Saturday – see you in June!!
It was good to have everyone back on site and by all accounts it was a good sale – my duties were withdrawn over to helping to host the AHUK Meeting; hopefully some of those attending that gathering proved to be valued customers at the Aeroboot!
Hopefully the forms for June will be emailed out later this week to those selling last Saturday, too many important meetings last week to get the forms updated in time for Saturday.
Sorry about the wind!!
A thank you from NAM: “A huge thank you to our volunteers, visitors, Aeroboot sellers, buyers etc. who helped to make April 13th a busy & rewarding day – plus the AHUK members who attended the meeting!
Everyone’s support is appreciated!!”

A reminder: “As we come towards the end of opening for Easter Monday a quick reminder that we are open tomorrow, Tuesday 2nd April, but we are having to close on Wednesday 3rd April due to a daylong outage to our water supply – sorry for an inconvenience!
Good news for tomorrow at NAM: “We’re expecting a good turn out of our open cockpit volunteers tomorrow with cover anticipated on the Vulcan, Shackleton, Wessex, Jaguar cockpit etc.
Something to be aware of: “Sadly on Wednesday 3rd April the museum will be closed for the day due to the site water supply being temporarily shut off!
