Short Sealand
I quite like the Sealand, reasonably attractive
IIRC the one on the left is an Alexeev (sp?) S-211 or something like that, anyone?
I don’t suppose there is such a thing as a colour photo of this slippery fish?
Bless You 🙂
Wasn’t the Sperrin designed as a fall back for the entire V-Bomber program? IIRC it was purely designed as a half step rather than a full step in Jet Bomber design (with less risk and lesschance of failure)
I think it probably would have been a bit like the B-45 Tornado in US service. A totally reliable albeit old technology airframe that really didn’t shine and had a short but useful service life.
Swallow
I must admit though it may have been an unsafe little creature but it sure wuz purdy 🙂
Just a couple more
Here are some more P-40’s, but for comparison I’ve included a P-36 (and Hawk 75) and an XP-46
Enjoy 🙂
Thanx
Harvard
It’s funny though, 1000’s of RAAF pilots learnt to fly in EATS Harvards but not one (NA-16 not counted) was ever operated by the RAAF.
And as I find sharing pics a simple pleasure as reward for years of searching here are some.
Must be time for some pics
I’m really into the whole Hawk series. I don’t know why but here are so pics which speak louder than words.
P-40
Here are a couple of my personal favourites
Finnish Blenheims
A while ago I stumbled across this pic of a Finnish Blenheim. Whilst not a great quality It’s rareness (is that a word) makes it worth while.
I found it on a really small site about 2 years ago and the site now escapes my memory. So who ever you are thanks. 🙂
I have similar of Finnish Ju 88’s if you would like too.
Thanks Mark you’re a legend. Glad I just happened to have your fine Lady.
All the best from way down south.
IIRC the min specs is 1.4Ghz P4 or Athlon, 64mb 3D card and 256Mb RAM so your machine might chucking a Hernia 🙁
QA-12
Hey Mark I just realised it is QA-12 too 😀
