    its seems a bit odd to me…..10 tons, is that not rather a lot??? one of my colleagues is quoted saying it only takes 4 tons to go from birmingham to geneva so to load an extra 10 tons seems an unbelievable gaff by someone!

    another one “kisses” goodbye, i have a few hundred stuck here in tenerife but atol to the rescue, they will be fine. I feel sorry for the one already booked who will lose their holiday, i know they will get their money back eventually but it is a shame right in the middle of the holiday season..

    Hi,

    Did you book this using the BA website ? if so have you got the flight no ?
    I’m really interested having never flown on a 747 before but don’t want to book the wrong flight – Thanks Tim

    Foot note: found it – BA1326 LHR-NCL

    look further up this thread, lukeylad has posted the flight numbers, i got mine on BA website, then i noticed when you click on “details” on the booking page it tells you aircraft type

    BA1326 in Bound Landing at 11.10 then the BA1327 outbound leaving at 12.30
    EK035 operated by a 777-300ER is due down at 12.05, however it has a habit of coming in 10 minutes early quite often so if were lucky they could both be on the ground at the same time!

    thank you for the info……cant wait!!! im coming from tenerife just for 2 days to experience…..i know, sad case..

    was it not Air Europe or had they gone by then, i flew with them when it was Intasun Holidays, which became Sunworld, maybe them but not sure
