Where are we going to park it when they start retiring them in 30 years. We have enough problems saving Tridents !!!
I think you’ll find that bomb jokes have always been treated this seriously. However, I know this because I’m interested in aviation. Your average Joe Public probably doesn’t. One solution would be large warning signs in the airport explaining the seriousness of the situation and the true gravity of making such flippant remarks. Even better would be occassional public service announcements on TV.
Stop, all this loss & carnage is distressing me.:(
Well done. You can go to the link below & do a bit of drooling.

Best get a bit of height first then !
Done properly the airframe shouldn’t get stressed. Though the “done properly” bit is where it has gone wrong on numerous occasions before.
What are airliners officially stressed to, i.e. the limits it says not to exceed ? Is it about +3.5/-2 or that order of magnitude ?
There is a film of a CH53 Super Jolly doing a roll. I’ll see if I can hunt it down.
Go on then Whiskey delta. A pic of the same view from your cockpit. Keep it at 1 g all the way around & the Geese will never know !! Best do it at night when the blinds are down.
Good here isn’t it Snapper ? we don’t get this on the historic section.
Have you ever tried any on Anna ? I’ll understand if you do not want to answer.
