Airliners.net are asking people to pay to register to use their forums, but they seem to have quite alot of forums dedicated to various topics if you look at the list on their site. That is the only other one I know of which ahs airliners in general. Yahoo has different groups dedicated to various airlines and airliner types, but nothing on general civilian aviation, I don’t think.
Ha ha ha – very amusing I thought!!!:p

Great idea Simmer.
Great Mongu, I never went to Brunel University, but I knew about him as a kid when I was into railways and things. I voted for him in “Great Britons”, he is a very interesting character, and, as you say, a great man whose legacy is still around today – the Royal Albert Bridge, the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Paddington Station..

There have been demonstrations and road blockages in England, I haven’t noticed anything in my town, but then I don’t live in a major city. I will be glad when everything is over, these are terrible times, and there is nothing we can do to stop it. The British government has not listened to the anti-war protests, it just goes its own way.

I am new to this forum and am just browsing the subjects, hence the rather late reply on this thread.
It’s so nice to see a picture posted that has been taken by a forum member instead of one taken from Airliners.net, like everyone else seems to do. Nice one Comet:)
Just to clear things up here – Marc Isambard Brunel was a Sir, his son Isambard Kingdom Brunel was NOT a Sir.

Wishing all the Allied troops in the Gulf – all the best and show them who’s boss.
