Nice.
But unbelievable that they still are allowed to operate after the report of their Lightning crash…..
Things are changed so it seems. Sad that a crash was neccesary to get them to that point.
Think you are corrrect that Europe is not on their map at the moment. Interesting that all 330’s started with Aer Lingus, then Vladivostok Avia and now Shaheen being leased from ILFC.
She was indeed painted at AMS. I thought maybe for service to Europe.
If I can remember I flew her once while she was still with Aer lingus.
Would be nice if they would start service to Europe one day.
Maybe you can have a try with these guys http://www.seagull-formation.nl

Thats a real shame. I guess the Martinair airframes will be around for a while?
Well PH-MCY is now in storage but will be re-activated. PH-MCT will be retired by next year. So from 2013 only six MP MD-11’s.
Scrapping or long-term storage? Have flown in her many times over the years. Ship741 probably has a copy of this one on his toilet wall with a crucifix hanging over it:dev2: Someone told him to do it.
Scrapping yes 🙁
Her she is just before she went to the desert for scrapping.

Very sad to see this happen . Luckely I have plenty of work with the red MD-11’s in Holland:)
Interesting shot on UKAR. Too early to speculate but it shows white smoke from the left engine-. Speedy recovery Mnr De Bruyn…
This Bronco had smoke generator(s). See this shot:

Very sad that this happend. Saw this a/c and Tony several times this year througout Europe.
I hope he will be allright!
Awesome! Can’t wait to see the rebels at the heldair show 🙂
Good news that they are going ahead with the 2012 program despite the loss of one of their pilots and aircraft.
These are new built types over the next 20 years.
First see than believe… How many times VDA and/or Polet stated they would order new built 124’s.
And imo the markt isn’t there for such a big fleet of 124’s.
Yes, I think I read something in that respect.
Do you think the Il-96 still has a chance of getting more sales? latest aircraft produced were VIP or transport variants.
Don’t think so. Maybe Polet will get a few more 400T’s.
No airline in the world I can think of which will order the 300.
Just to many western models on the market.
Ok fair enough. But still I don’t think Iran ever will order brand new Tu-204’s.
They have other solutions to get ‘new’ airliners.
Maybe the new PS-90A3 has no PW parts? The SM uses the A2 which is embargoed to export to iran.
Well Iran is doing not to bad…. Last aircraft they obtained was an A340…..
