You went to Duxford, and you didn’t call in and say hello…. miserable b*gger!; can’t agree with you on the air (waste of) space hangar though,I genuinely prefer the American one; you should try taking a pram (or wheel chair)in the lift with doors on both sides, you steady yourself against the back wall only to find that it opens up at the other end ,and you spill out rather unceremoniously.

Piece of Cake on DVD 🙂

    Moggy

I also got Piece of cake on DVD, but unlike everyone else on the forum/ in the known universe, I’ve never seen it (until now) presumably it was first aired in 89, and a quick check through my diary of that year, reveals a long gap between entries, when I was abducted by aliens (for tax purposes); Moggy your avtar looks suspiciously like one of the characters in the series, but I’m only 3 episodes in ,and they all seem like decent chaps…

A craving of a feeling of importance? or more importantly,a feeling of annoyance; personally if it was the glory of starting a good thread that I craved, I might have started more than 3; 2 of which were asking what happened to the Bader thread (from a while back) , and 1 giving a heads up on disco wings.

I say Ben £2,300- a very exact valuation, and a very generous one as well I might add!

Graham, if Ebay has suspended your account ,it is because a fellow ebay member has complained, and Ebay has upheld that complaint, not because Ebay PLC reads this or any other forum, and acts on rumours or gossip.

Label says “do not put on head” label was inside helmet, and you noticed label on removing helmet from…. bad luck on not getting the Gee Bee, but at least you’ll only break a leg or two jumping off the roof of your house, whereas inside the GeeBee, label says ” remove contents of head, before use”

Funny that he has equated the members of this forum to Neo Nazi’s and yet has a quote from Schopenhauer (note correct spelling) who was not only Anti-Semitic but also held controversial theories on white supremacy.

Moi a Nazi ? my father fought “on the beaches at Normandy”, what I never realised, was, that he was just the other side of the beach, mowing down the British and Canadians with a mahine gun; quite how he ended up in the victory parade, the following year is perhaps the basis for an entire web site.
