I must add to this thread, Micheal Turner is my favorite. I used his work during one of my A level art projects back in 1991. How he painted so much movement into a painting is quite beyond me. His automotive art is also spot on.
I don’t know where or when it will be displaying, but would like to know. Hopefully someone will post some details.
I’m camping at RIAT and the Canberra has just passed overhead at 18:00
It will be a one day visit im affraid. Think I will get a days ticket and stay mobile.
Its difficult for me not to work for three days in a row, joys of self employment!
I will try to get there early and stay late, maybe get a travel lodge before coming back up to Leeds on Sunday.
Thanks for all your advice guys.
Chris
Thanks Bluerobin! It does read better now.
Thank you all for your replies, think I will go for a standard ticket and keep mobile, I am interested in all the stalls and displays too so it makes sense.
Shame about the USAF aircraft as I was hoping to see a large range of displaying aircraft.

Well that looks fantastic, so much activity and detail.

It’s an old matchbox kit? I suspected as much as the mouldings have “made in ####” and the England is moulded out, but it’s the old matchbox font.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Ah perfect! Thanks very much.
Love the ‘green house, Hurricane description, Trolly Aux!
Thats exactly what I say to my 5 yo daughter to help her out.
These are things a youngster needs to know.
Wondefull shots!
But can not help thinking there is a spare seat in that two seat spit!
me! me!
Think I would go for a second hand DSLR, I have a back up 350d Canon and its still a good camera, should eaisy get one from evil bay for 100-150 with a few spare batteries etc.
Then maybe a 75-300mm lense to go with it, second hand £60-75.
These were done by me with my 350d and 600d with the standard lenses and a 75-300
