    Hi there,

    I’m in the South West Pacific area, not in Europe. I think the Do24 was operated by the dutch to the west in Indonesia but that is a bit away form here. My hypothesis is a B-17 built by Vega as the B and the A is very similar to Vega built B-17s. The G could stand for Vega thought not sure

    Hi,

    Yes that’s correct. I have many parts that I have ID’d that are missing the 300 prefix at the start.

    Question. How are you able to locate the section so quickly. Do you use blueprints or parts catalogs or something else to help locate the item on the airframe?

    Wow, that was quick. I should have come to this forum ages ago. Thanks so much for the ID and the picture… all I need to do is find a picture of it on the aircraft. Would it be in the blueprints?
