Ben Rogers has added a few more participants to Fly Vintage: ARC Blenheim and Belgian F16.

Thanks for clarifying David – How stupid of me!

I must admit, I too don’t really have a problem with jets at Duxford shows, so long as they keep away from Flying Legends! Although, it was rather annoying having the Harrier run up whilst the Breitling Fighters were displaying last year, but I guess they’ve got to do their pre-take off checks somewhere.

Am I not alone in looking forward to seeing the Canberra again (assuming it’s flown and fully serviceable in time)?

Damien – do you know the reason why the Jag and Harrier pulled out of Kemble?

I hate to be cynical, but is this an April Fool’s joke, or a simple coincidence? 🙂

    RE: Display Pilot Evaluators?

Cheers. Charlie Brown must surely be a DAE along with Stephen and Nick Grey too.

Out of interest, was Mark Hanna a Display Evaluator?

RE: Which airshow performer do you miss the most.

Aircraft: Everything mentioned above, especially the SR71 as I’ve never seen one fly 🙁

Pilot: All those who have been lost really, but in particular, Mark Hanna, Norman Lees and Hoof Proudfoot.

RE: Who’s taking over the reigns?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-10-02 AT 09:42 PM (GMT)]It was the OFMC T6 that displayed at Duxford in September, flown by Rolf Meum (lovely lyrical aeros). TFC’s example was also listed to appear, but didn’t fly.

Angie Soper gave a very nice display in her Yak 11 at Biggin Hill back in June. In addition to Little Gransden, I believe the displays at Old Hay and Woodchurch were also blessed with Harvards and Yak 11s.

It’s a pity that we don’t see more of them at airshows. Would be great if they could have their own slot at Legends, particularly as TFC has a Harvard.

Back on topic, Spencer Flack did a lot for the preservation scene, along with BBMF and Shuttleworth.

Sounds like it was a good show. Philo – do you know who flew the TFC Corsair and Wildcat? Thanks in advance.
