Is the prop made by MT? The logo sure look like theirs!
Thanks for sharing.
Good show Harold!
Can’t wait to see her in the air again!
😎
Andy, don’t forget that CGI are created to look best on the silver screen, and not on some wee television set.
I’d go see the flick before calling names at it!

The Buchón has no engine radiator under the nose, it’s the oil cooler and the air intake for the engine.
The mesh you can see is the oil cooler.
Dennis Quaid took his private licence when filming “The Right Stuff”, he wanted to know what it was like to be a pilot!
Can’t blame him!
Indeed, we can cross the T’s, but they are the same still.
NAA really knew how to make good use of “off the shelf” components!
Mustangs have the same wheels as a T-6, just remove the wheel covers and you’re there.
Daz, when the Japs fire up their planes on the carrier deck, before they take-off, you are watching planes in Japan. They are very well done.
They used the Tora Zeros when they made “Baa Baa Black Sheep”, but that show was only good for the Corsair footage.
My Dad once told me he almost bought a “Kate” when the filming was over. Of course, he’s kicking himself for not having done it!
I think there was only one T-28 for Pearl Harbor, it was indeed a camera plane. They had a B-25 and an Astar too.
But the movie is still crap!
Anna, it’s not mine, just a model posted by a chap on a forum.

The Ottawa museum is a very nice one. I went there three times this year!
Will probably drop by a good few times next year too!
Very nice!
Cheers JDK.
Swiss Mustang, thanks for the pics….
