Have you spotted my Buchón yet JDK?
Thanks JDK.
I built the HC one, I included it in my post. I’ll get a HS prop for one of my Buchóns, I plan on making quite a few actually, including the one we have in Canada.
Of course that’s the plan Daz. We just don’t know how it looked! 😉
Nice collection JDK.
Are they all Hobbycraft kits? How did you do the three bladed prop on G-BOML? I’m veeeeeeery interested in those, having built one and having three in the loft.
Hell Ant.
Our AME, which was in the French Air Force during the war (yes, he’s old) says the Yanks put such things on P-47s to make more noise when straffing. It was a lenght of tube, in wood.
I don’t have any more infos.
Maybe it’s because that if you mess it up, you’ll end up as a dead stick!

Excellent!
It’ll be nice to see a Free French Spit in the air!
Hey, it looks better with the scoops under the spinners, and the wide chord blades…
Such a Mossie would have been the cat’s zass!
Just for the heck of it, another shot showing the yellow leading edges she now has.
Nice to see the T-6 in parts…
Check how our Harvard looked this summer when we decided she needed a thorough check up! 😉 😉
First you see her for the run-up before we do the oil change.
Then she’s taken apart, old markings are removed. New hydraulic system is rebuilt, new electrical panel, etc… Touch ups with the colour to refresh the scheme a bit and then we put on the new markings.
She used to pass for a Zero, now she’s got RCAF 438 Sqn. codes on her! 😎
The Seafires are XVIIs…
You can Fireflies at the stern of the ship.
If the shot on final for the carrier deck was taken in the Royale, then it’s the “Béarn”.
Really nice bird!
Lucky man!
Cool JDK! That’s awesome…
How did they put the damage on that Fort???
Excellent, I’m not in much of a hurry!
😉
