DGH, lemme check the dates, I’ll come back about U-1226 when she was in Montréal.
Whoa, thanks Martin!
That shot of her with the tarp is very sweet.
I’ll update my website to include images of her when she was around here and I’ll post up the images.
Cool Martin!
Do you have any shots of U-1226? My father would be much pleased to see them!
Cool!
In the picture of the Vampires at the auction, you can see U-1226, third from the top on the right. We bought her and brought her to Montréal, where she was re-assembled and we taxied around a bit with it, but the runway was a tad short for it. Plus Transport Canada was not so keen on jet Warbirds at the time!
I believe she’s now in Florida, still flying!
Yes, I saw SL721 before she was repainted and I prefered her in that smart blue scheme, her true one!!
Now she’s just ‘another’ Spit in camo, instead of THE blue Spit.
But still, a Spit is a Spit and I ain’t spitting on occasions to see her!
:p 😉
Ok, we have the Mirage Balzac, Leduc 021 or 022 on top of the Languedoc and then the XP-67 Moonbat, not forgetting the Chinese Harbin SH-5.
And the last dealie is a Tupolev 128, no?
Check this page :Yale
😎
Thanks Martin!
Does she fly once in a while?
1- Aerodrome, pilot ???
2- Wright Flyer, the rest ???
6- McCurdy, Curtiss and Bell.
Yes, that would be quite ironic wouldn’t it?
Are you sure? Those gears look strange to me behind the hub…
Did the Japanese have metal props? I know the Zekes had licensed-built Hamilton Standards…
“Cosley Control, Rabbit squadron…”
“Roger that Rabbit, climb to FL290, cleared direct Heathrow enroute Paris…”
Yes, I remember the Spit and Bf 109s from Gargoyles… I had thoroughfully enjoyed that show!!
