I hope the cabin crew and flight deck on the ATR aren’t going to be layed off because of this
Can’t speak for the CC as they are bmi, but we already have work lined up for the ATR, so it won’t effect AAT staff at all.
Tom.

Considering they have been sat out on the grass for some time, G-APSA purred like a big kitten today! Not often you get a Shack and a 6 running at the same time in the same place these days either 😮
Tom.
Its amazing how much changes in your 4 days off!
LBA-LCY is to stop, maybe as early as next week. ATR will be kept on for a little while longer but not the 6 months they had decided last week and will possibly move to MAN but this is all still undecided at the moment.

She does look good 🙂
I imagine it will be RA visiting Jersey as PY has no seats.
Tom.
PS IF ANYBODY FROM OPERATIONS IS LISTENING I WOULD NOT BE OFFENDED IF THE ‘SIX WAS ROUTED OVER THE FOOTBALL GROUND, AT A RESPECTABLE ALTITUDE OF COURSE
Sorry Will, day off!
I believe it was up for crew training. Now the ATR operation is more or less up and running they could well be wanting to get them back on the ad-hoc freight market and earning some cash.
See you all Saturday!
Tom.
Hmm… That is interesting, if, as Tom says, they have signed up to the ATR for the next 6 months, could they use it on any other routes?
I *think* this has been looked at but not being directly involved with that side of things I couldn’t say for sure. I imagine the most likely thing to happen would be the cancellation of the 507/8, leaving just the early morning and evening sectors.

Hey John, Will.
Had a quick look at PY this afternoon whilst passing through. Looks great in its new scheme!
Tom.
Bruce,
When you say Mk.3 are you referring to the NF3 and subsequent FAW versions?
Cheers,
Tom.
Biggest difference was the Venom’s all new high speed swept wing. It also had a redesigned tail unit, more powerful engine, hydraulically operated ailerons, tip tanks and revised cockpit layout. Performance was much improved in all areas over the Vampire.
