RE: Iraq; a question of oil.

Well, it’s gonna take a while before we have a EU-army,

    can you imagine this EU-army?
Italian commanders, Belgian soldiers, English cooks LOL

In the meanwhile each country should focus on some individual tasks, like transportation, reconnaisance, air defence. At least one point where Cyrus and I agree (apart from not giving any charity to crack-whores }>). The common European defence budget is not that low actually (195 Billion Euro’s, compared to USs 320 Billion dollars), but instead of having 15 small armies with limited capabilities we could have one joint force, which could also operate outside of Europe. Morroco will think twice next time before invading the EU }>.

    RE: UN vs US

You really need a lesson national history? Sorry you need to learn that from a foreigner. The man shown in the picture is a Yankee, a progressive American, created before the civil war. Bush is not a Yank, he’s just an oiler, I can’t understand why they compare Bush with some of the finest people in history, who made the US to become a state free of slavery.

    And I prefer my cartoon.

RE: Name 5 countries you would like to visit most!

    [updated:LAST EDITED ON 19-09-02 AT 07:15 PM (GMT)]Well here’s my list

    1. California, US
    2. Australia and/or New Zealand (if my budget allows it)
    3. Israel
    4. St-Petersburg, Russia
    5. India

California is planned for 2004, unless my brother becomes father for the second time, and have to go to South Africa again.

And I know some people down under, so that shouldn’t be that hard.

Israel. Going to visit it with my uncle, it’s not that expensive these days, don’t know why }>.

St-Petersburg, always wanted to see how the Russians copied our western-European cities. And ofcourse the hermitage museum. My brother says it was one of the coolest places in the world.

And if I just had two days to live: Texas, to some kind of ranch (?), with my FN 7.52 UR Commando sniper. Next time some American kid says he doesn’t believe we know how to operate weapons in Belgium, I’ll show him }>. –> Joke.

<< You seem to be giving NATO a lot more credit than it deserves…just replace “NATO” with “American Forces” and you’ll be correct…if the Euro troops left, no one would notice. >>

Hmm, replace the word “American” troops by the word “American” bombs. The Euros have send lots of peacekeepers of NATO and the UN. It’s only in the first stage that we really needed the help of the US. In fact, the EU is going to take over the job from NATO in a little while, like it has already done so in Macedonia.

<< At least those “cheeky” Indians were brave warriors…unlike the Euros who would rather make appeasement with psychopathetic leaders like Hitler and Hussein rather than confront them from the beginning. >>

Maybe because that leader has helped rebuild German economy, reunited German families, installed many public services? The average Euro (you seem to use the word Euro as a population, can I call you dollar?) didn’t know what was going to happen untill 1939, when Hitler attacked Polen. With WWI fresh in memory the leaders were not that happy going into a new war, maybe they should have, but who was the last one to join the coalition? Who still did not declare war on Hitler was French, British and Belgian soldiers were dying on the battlefield???

<< yes that may explain why I’d give my left penis to be normal. >>

    LOL

<< Yes and for their bravery you massacred them and coralled the reminants in concentration camps to finish them off with whitemans fire water and low self esteem… just as well for them they were stronger than the white man has become in your country. (Mogadishu ring any bells?). >>

Yeah, but that’s not totally true. Remember it were the € who started the job and not the $. Spanish legions starked killing Indians already in the 16th century, and many have died from the flue the Spanish brought with them.

RE: Iraq; a question of oil.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 19-09-02 AT 06:50 AM (GMT)]Because country A does not have the right to attack country B without the support of the UN. That’s international justice, America also signed that document.

Now, if Bush (I won’t say the US because this man does not represent the majority of the Americans who think the UN IS necessairy) still decides to go on (like he’s doing now) he will ruin every, every relation the US has build up the past 50 years. Remembers, leaders are just there for a couple of years, and who will clean up the mess once W is gone?

I was just really pissed off yesterday with hearing how this man has the arrogance to say to the whole world it’s not about weapon inspectors anymore. The demand to Iraq was: let them in, let them do their job or face military actions. If Iraq does what the UN asks, why should we attack them?

Wanna know the correlation? Where’s the correlation between Al Quada and Saddam?????????

I would like to hear some voices not only from the west but also from India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia …

And Cyrus, one last remark. France indeed surrendered after two weeks. Maybe they wanted to save the population, thought about that? Yeah, I admire our own brave ministers who said “Belgium will continue fighting”, while they were commanding from one of London’s fanciest hotels. But the King surrendered, for which he was blamed.
Don’t laugh with the French because they’ve been to war, that’s just sadist. I wouldn’t wish that enemy troops and tanks were rolling into your capital …

Get rid of Bush and throw Tony out of Europe.

    Links and Images

It’s clear, this has nothing to do with weapon inspections or democracy. The US and Britons are just after the oil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the game is over. Now we all know the true face of the Bush-administration: it’s evil! Yeah you read that well, first time I used to word ‘evil’. Any actions now undertaken are as illegal as Iraq occupying Kuweit.

Gosh, anyone who still supports Bush is

    1. stupid
    2. evil

At least Europe is out …. Jippie!!!!!!! If there’s gonna be war, only with the US and its poodle Blair. the eu and russia already said : no war.

If the Us attacks Iraq, then i see no reason why China should not invade Taiwan, India should not attack Pakistan (and vice versa) or Russia should not attack georgia.
