I don’t know why the Doors are still so popular. Maybe I’m too young to understand, but I think there’s better music around. The Doors are becoming “cult”, art, which means nobody may question their music. Had a similar discussion a couple of days ago in the bar. Ho, don’t touch Nirvana, Metallica or the Doors! But never heard about the Pixies.

I would also like to see the Beach Boys again. Yeah, you may all laugh, but I’m a big fan of this group 😀 California dreaming! 😉

I do like the Velvet Underground (songs for drella = Andy Warhol :)), but not that I would give anything to see them live, unlike the Pixies or the Dandy Warhols.

I’ve seen Ramstein in concert last year. Cool, especially the burning guitars and the *****. But not that I would go to their concert each year.

I’m not keen of Italian cinema and don’t know much of the other countries.

Would love to hear that. Do you have the lyricks? 😀 A couple of months ago .Calibre (I think that’s Belgian) covered “where’s my mind”. They should not allow to make covers from such a great song.

BTW, Arthur, are you a fan of the Dandy Warhols? They are a lot inspired by the Pixies I think. Good music, but unlike the Pixies, not as refreshing.

Does anyone know when the Pixies are bringing out their collector’s item box featuring all the cd’s (Surfer Rosa – Doolittle – Trompe Le monde, Come on Pelgrim and Bossanova). I’m still not able to find Come on Pelgrim in the low countries. Would really like to have it, it’s their first stuff.

Actually the original videoclip of Where’s my mind is pretty cool. It’s some japanese Manga-cartoon, with lots of explosions, a carrier being destroyed by some monster and even an Su-27.

Is Kim Deal still doing that Breeders-stuff? Which other band can make a record about such nerdish stuff like the Bible and UFO’s and still be number one :D! Great music.
