USAgent, where do you keep getting these emoticons from?
Ohh, and that picture of Arthur. Man, don’t be too chauvenistic. I know you Americans are very proud on the thousand of hamburgers you consume each year, and I also know we have to install new desks at our uni because the American foreign exchange students don’t fit in them anymore. But please, spare us sending pictures from your own mother (she can use a razerblade though, is she perhaps amish :D)?

Agree with USAgent here though. Things like this could have been avoided, and one individual psycho has nothing to do with politics. I still remember the Dutroux affair in Belgium, and how this, mainly thanks to the British tabloids portretted Belgians like pedophiles.
There should be restrictions on the internet I reckon. Instead of only using Echelon to prevent terrorist attacks from happening, maybe a non-private organisation should keep an eye on what’s happening on the net.

Ofcourse, it has to be suicide. Probably, the last thing the Blair administration would do is to kill this man. This couldn’t have happened at a worst time for Blair and I wouldn’t be supprised if that would cost him his job. Eventually, the media, especially the BBC, will turn against Blair. Blair in person shouldn’t be held responsible for this man’s death though, there could have been, and there will probably be – other motives; nobody is going to kill himself because he think he’s right. I think the fault lies in both the UK Gov’t and the BBC. This Shakesperean tragedy could have been avoided.

Nice emoticons and stuff, USAgent. Makes me wonder though that apart from your these nice add-ons, the rest of your posts are utter utter crap.

So you didn’t like quatorze juillet? 😀

At least you’re being honest. Posts like yours don’t need any feedback, unless you consider  to be one. Helps me a lot, because I’m way too lazy to type a full response. If all of them were as simple as you, my Anglo “I wanna be Americain because my country is no empire anymore”-friend 😉

Correct Arthur. But because 60 % of Belgium’s decissions are taken on the regional level (Flanders – Wallonia or Brussels) there’s a big difference. Compare a Flemish city to a Walloon, you will find out Antwerp has a lot more in common with Amsterdam than with Charleroi or even Brussels (which is ruled by a French majority, though constitutionally, the Dutch have equal sayings). Going to Wallonia therefor is going to another country: different language but also a lot more socialist.
But going to Rotterdam doesn’t make me happy either actually. Amsterdam is very nice, much like Den Hague, Breda etc. But modern cities like Rotterdam are maybe cleaner, I wouldn’t like to live in one of them. So cold, no heart.
One of the reasons why i pay 95 eurocents for a litre of fuel in stead of 1 euro 20…
Than I’d suggest you would fill you tank ASAP because from now on, you’re going to pay more in Belgium. Unless you have LPG ofcourse, because this is “cleaner”. Policy of the new gov’t. Hé don’t look at me I didn’t vote socialist :D.

Well, A PM, unlike a president can not be impeached. In a multiple party system, the coalition partners should however demand that a new PM is installed. But since “Il cabaritieri” is also the richest, most important man in Italy, nobody has the guts to question him. It’s evident that what’s going on in Italy, is not normal and should be followed by the rest of the world closely. A shame the EU doesn’t put more pressure on Berlusconi.
