I object! Look, this is not about flaming or such. The people with the silly remarks are not the ones I have problems with for instance. It’s not about who’s good and bad, it’s just something which strikes me because there’s a flood – :dev2: no particular meaning of the word – of silly private remarks I don’t understand because I’m not a member of that group. So it’s not a problem of flaming, because flaming actually means you want to bring it in front of the whole community.

And many good discussions do move to page 2. Look, I’m not on the net all day (thank god I don’t have to sit in front of a computer). Apart from exams, like now, I only visit the forum once a day. It’s quite irritating to see everything has moved to page 2 and than you see all the crap. 90% of what I’m writing is also pure and utter crap, but no nonsence. At least everybody can understand my posts, wheter they like it or not. Sometimes it’s quite unpleasant if you try to post something which does make sence, and there’s simply no reaction because it has moved to page 2. It should be possible to discuss serious conversations, the other non-sence I reserve for my visits to the local pub, like tonight.

Andrew, sometimes it’s impossible to track good threads because the forum is overwhelmed with all this !! BS. It’s like opening a mailbox full of spam, it’s not nice. Maybe there should be a utter-utter crap forum as well. Not all threads should be handling about politics, I like music, cars, football etc as well. But sometimes discussions are between a couple of forum members, who dominate this forum more than anyone else. This is not a popularity contest.

Relax Kev, it’s probably just a mistake. Remember, computers can’t make mistakes, humans can. I don’t think being a moderator gives you tremendous power, nor does it raise your social status or income. These guys are volunteers, and are needed to keep things going. I never had bad experiences with one of them, but as they are frequent posters, they can not stay just neutral like the webmaster.

here’s my theory: there are no more gays these days, but there are more “gay-things”. I spoke to my uncle about it, who’s a trench-digger himself (literally translated from dutch). These days a lot of men behave very female-like to have succes with the ladies! Don’t say you don’t do it yourself. Ohh, have a nice chat. Anyway, the main difference is that after the chat he wants to have sex, she wants to go home and here ends the friendship. Therefor, I urge the world to sepperate males and females again.
