Well I am gobsmacked. Some of the photos I put up on here I thought would get a response (which they did) but others, like the German border, I hoped but never thought I’d get anything. Thanks everyone for your time and efforts. Maybe I’ll put some more up shortly. They will really test you. 😉
Tony.
It would be nice to make a map and pinpoint all the confirmed places! Let the pictures come to us!! 😉
Gerard, I was looking for such evidence; you did beat me to it!
A few more pics I found; the 2nd is the same as yours. Also the present situation from Google Maps.

I found via some facebookfriend also this pic from the hotel: http://www.beeldbankgroningen.nl/beeldbank/weergave/record/?id=60caab21-786f-6060-187a-105cbbdb46e2 and note that the hotel is gone and replaced by residential homes.
I can confirm on 032 and 033 to be the Afsluitdijk, 039 is the Arnhem Bridge, 052 is in Copenhagen (The goddess Gofian with 4 bulls, Copenhagen).
And I now know which Dutch – German border is on the picture. It is the one in Nieuweschans. Found a picture taken from almost the same position:
