Now that the crew is safe I like to share this.

Actualy, I wonder if they will fly in a new helo to the Tromp as they will need one on board. Is the Tromp already on its way to the Gulf of Aden?

Note that the UH-72A doesn’t have the windows in the rear doors
Compare the BK117 and the EC-145, the fuselage is slightly different and the EC-145 has 1 window more.
Also the vertical fins are different in shape as is the motor housing.

Now that you mention it, ISTR the star-only insignia is mostly on PLA MBTs.
Or, maybe it loses the horizontal bar when it’s on the tail fin?

You’re right! It has the normal roundel with horizontal bar on and below the wing.

Interesting! It seems that the roundel is also changed a bit. The thickness of the red circle looks smaller.
