That was the same I thought when I found that picture. I think it is only used for promotional purposes by Sikorsky. Funny thing is that every scale model of this helo has that pod!

BTW: Finding pictures of a CH-54 /S-64 with a pod is not that difficult but finding a pod with a red cross is.
