This is a shame. The Sterling name had a long history in Denmark through various incarnations.

I was in Copenhagen a few weeks ago and saw plenty of their colourful aircraft coming and going.

This is a shame for CVT, but probably inevitable given the planning decision.

Do you think there was scope to survive in the shadow or Birmingham and East Midlands airports?

Will the airport likely concentrate on cargo and other private movements now, or keep chasing the airlines for passenger flights?

They had a similar offer on the other week with £1 fares including taxes. Some of those fares are still available too it seems. You’ve just got to search around a bit.

It seems there are less of these 0.00 around, and a few restrictive blackout periods.

There was talks of them restarting. Any news yet?

Also completed mine a few months ago. Wasn’t my favourite one, I tell you that.

Its just word of mouth really, over the internet mainly. I think some of us ought to get some sort of news/movements group going – theres quite a few of us from NCL on here now.
