I don`t no much about Nikon but if your looking for canon you could go for the EF70-300 is lens. it`s around the £350 mark or you could try the tamron 28-300 XR-DI lens for around £200 but to be honest if you can the one you want is the Canon 100-400 is usm L lens or or even the sigma 50-500mm you should get one for a good price now. the 100-400 is just over £1000 now I know not cheap but well worth the money.
Ok,
as my birthday is just over a week away, seen a nice one,
5x Digtal Zoom
10x Optical Zoom
5.36 MegapixelsI am very sure this will give me fantastic quality?, but ill run it through you!
Thanks Jon
Hi John. If your going to go for this type of camera then don`t be fooled by the Digital Zoom It may well be 5x but all that will do is zoom in on the photo making it more grainy than the camera you already have. So just go for one that has the best Optical zoom you can get for your buget. take a look at a Konica Z5 it has a 12x optical zoom. But with these type of camreas you will get lag inbetween shots so if you can try and go for a DSLR it been posted on here before but it will save you money in the long run. Hope this is of some help to you.
Great shots there spitfirenine. only fault is you`ve stopped the props. next time try switching to Tv setting on your camera and start with a shutter speed of 1/350 for flying shots. that will give you some prop blur
I had the 50-500 EX DG and used it for about a year. And have to say that I did`nt really like it. As it was far to heavy and like DamineB has already said it it soft at the 500mm end. I`ve now got the 100-400 is lens and the 100mm less i really not noticeable at all. only fault is the short end is a bit tight when you have something big like the SalyB taxi past
now this way is a bit longer but you can come off the M11 at J11 and follow the A10 to Royston then up the A505 that way you will get parked on the LWH car park.
thanks for the welcome guys
