Ahhh, the Utterly Butterly pair are going to be at Legends then! 😀
You can also use a Friends of Duxford membership card to get into the same enclosure.
What a great find, and well saved!
Must have been big, if the scale against that tree is anything to go by! 😀

“What working phot has time to write reviews?”
There are lots.
“Now, could these reviews have been written for a financial incentive”
I should be so lucky! 😀
And thirded!
Have a good one fella, guess the beers are on you for Sunday?? 😀
I have decided to look for a digi camera that I can use to photo flying aircraft. Would a 12x optical zoom be sufficient and what do our resident experts use and think…Damien…Robbo et al?
Unfortunately I do not have a huge budget…I like the Minolta Konica Z3 or Z5
Rocketeer,
PM me your address and I will send you a copy of my magazine when it is back from the printers next week. I have just reviewed the top superzoom compacts and this includes the Z5.
Cheers
That poor old B-25 gets worse by the day. She really needs someone to care for her properly, would that I had the finances to do so.
Just the other day, I was going through some old pictures, and found one of the Bedsheet Bomber. At the time, she looked quite good, and she is now a far cry from what she was. It is a real shame. Who actually owns her now, and is there a reason for her being left this way?
What an interesting aircraft. I assume from James’ comments, that the correct engine should make it look more Gladiator like? All the same, it looks really nice. Is this a new flyer, or just one that has not been seen very often? It would be great to see this fly at a UK airshow.
Nice pics Darren, are these from the Olympus or a mixture?
Mainly the Olympus E-300, with the 300 f/2.8. With the light getting low later in the day, the extra wide aperture was very much needed.
Its been run over by a steamroller! (i.e. its a 2D bit of set dressing)
Damn, you beat me to it Nick!
Very nice Niall, that light did fade quick didn’t it!
aj_march,
The “Nieuport” has a flat tyre…which is why its stuck at OW… In fact, its got a whole lot more flat than just a tyre! 😀
Ian,
Please introduce yourself on Thursday, as I will be at the launch. I should be easy to spot, as I will be doing photographs. (I will post a few if Jon and Sarah agree).
Wot, no Hurricane tail?
Rob
I know… thats the problem of using a fixed lens, but I just liked the shot anyway.
