    If I’m right and the serial is in fact 60-0411, then it’s an F-105D from the 333rd TFS that was lost on 16 March 1966.

    Definitely an F-105, thanks. If anyone can tell me how to post an image I’ll put one on (new to this forum)

    My recollection of the Notam is that the Red Arrows were due to enter Luton Zone via Pirton at around 14.25, overfly Harpenden, down to Hendon across to Alexandra Palace and then due north up the Stansted-Luton gap (virtually over my house). I was flying, but understand that they overflew Buntingford on the return at about 1435.
